Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has prioritized the safety of lives and property of residents and visitors in his administration.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso gave the assurance while reacting to a video showing kegs of petrol being handed out as souvenirs at an Event Centre in Lagos.
He said the State Government, through the Safety Commission, was investigating the issue, as it was blatantly against all safety measures in such places.
The Commissioner, who said the action could lead to loss of lives and property, stressed that all parties to the reprehensible action would be made to account for it.
Omotoso, however, cautioned against actions that could lead to loss of lives and property.
