BROADCASTING ORGANISATION OF NIGERIA SET TO AWARD MEDIA PRACTITIONERS

In its bid to motivate media practitioners and reward them for their works of excellence, the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria, BON, has unveiled plans for the Nigerian Broadcasting Awards Twenty, twenty-two.

Unveiling the logo for the Awards at a briefing, the Chairman, Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria, BON, John Ugbe, said the awards aimed to recognise outstanding achievements in Television and Radio, as well as identify achievements and meritorious service in broadcasting, among others.

Ugbe noted that entries for the Awards were not limited to BON members, but all broadcast outfits.

Also speaking, Chairman Steering Committee, Guy Murray-Bruce, said the Award, the first to be organised by BON in the last thirty-three years, would change the face of the broadcast industry.
