STATE GOVERNMENT TO LAUNCH CNG BUSES FOR RESIDENTS

The State Government says it is working with private operators under a PPP arrangement to launch over two thousand CNG buses for residents to enjoy a carbon free emission atmosphere.

The Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, said this at the Lagos State Government Year 2024 Ministerial Briefing, a Greater Lagos Rising held at Alausa, Ikeja.

He said the state government had continued to prioritise its intermodal transportation system to make life comfortable for Lagosians, putting in place bus reform initiative, collaborating with the private sector to build ferries.

The Commissioner also said the government would launch a twenty four hour toll free call centre to enhance the operations of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA.
