PRESIDENT TINUBU SLASHES EXPENDITURE ON OFFICIAL TRAVELS BY 60 PERCENT

President Bola Tinubu has slashed expenditure on all official domestic and international travels of Ministries, Departments and agencies by sixty percent.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale disclosed this while speaking to State House Correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

By the President’s directive, twenty persons are approved as entourage for foreign trips for the office of the President, five persons for the office of the vice president, and five persons approved for the office of the first lady.

For Local trips the President approved twenty five persons for the office of the president, fifteen persons for the office of the Vice President and ten persons for the office of the First lady.

The directive which takes immediate effect is to cut costs on official trips.
