The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has announced the extension of the deadline for the collection of Permanent Voters Cards.
According to the Commission, the exercise scheduled to end twenty-second January, will now continue until twenty-ninth January.
Its National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, gave the announcement
He said the extension would enable registered voters to have ample opportunity to collect their Voter’s Cards ahead of the forthcoming election.
