PARIS 2024: FALCONS BATTLE ETHIOPIA WITHOUT WALDRUM

Super Falcons will be without head coach, Randy Waldrum, as the team face Ethiopia in the first leg of the second round of the 2024 Women’s Olympic qualifying games in Addis Ababa, on Wednesday.

Waldrum, whose current contract ends 31st October, negotiating his extension with the Nigeria Football Federation, could be available for the return leg in Nigeria.

In his absence, assistant coaches, Justin Madugu, Ann Agumanu-Chiejine and Auwal Makwalla would take charge of the team.

The encounter at the Abebe Bekila Stadium, Addis Ababa, will kick off at 1.30pm Nigeria time, while
the second leg is scheduled for the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday, 31st October 2023
