LAGOS GOVERNOR APPEALS TO NIGERIAN LABOUR CONGRESS ON PROPOSED FUEL SUBSIDY STRIKE.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has appealed to the Nigerian Labour Congress to exercise patience on its proposed strike on fuel Subsidy removal slated for Wednesday.

Sanwo-Olu said this while speaking to journalists after the Post-inauguration Church Thanksgiving Service at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina.

He said this is not the time for strike, urging them not to make the fuel subsidy a political issue but for them to join hands with the present administration at the federal level to make Nigeria a better place for all.

Sanwo-Olu restated his administration commitment to ensure that no one is left behind in the human centric agenda THEMES PLUS.

The Governor said the thanksgiving Service was to give praise to God for the successful end of the first tenure and commencement of the second term believing that it would also be purposeful and meaningful for all.
