Thirty women have been kidnapped by pro-independence rebels about four days ago in western Cameroon.
Reports say they were tortured and abducted by armed rebels in Kedjom Keku village, where civilians are frequently kidnapped, mainly for ransom.
A colonel in the army told Newsmen that the separatists had not yet been found.
The communication service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration also confirmed that the authorities had no news of the hostages.
