The Lagos State Ministry of Education has extended the deadline for Payment and Registration for 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE, earlier fixed for Friday.
According to the Lagos State Examination Board, the Payment and Registration has now been extended to twenty-eighth April.
Its Director, Orunsolu Adebayo, said the extension became necessary due to hitches encountered by schools as a result of network issues due to Central Bank Cashless Policy which has made the processes cumbersome for most schools.
Adebayo noted that it was important to give room for most of the Approved Private and Special Schools yet to register.
To this end, he implored all affected schools to seize the opportunity of the extension, as excuses will not be entertained after the expiration of the new date.
