The Presidential Candidate of Social Democratic Party, Prince Adewole Adebayo has said that he is on a quest to fix Nigeria.
Adebayo gave the affirmation, while speaking as a guest at an official Book launch titled “Get Involved” on Tuesday, in Abuja.
He harped on the need for the citizens of Nigeria to hold government accountable on challenges bedeviling the nation, while emphasizing the danger in vote buying if the trend is allowed to continue unabated in the county.
Reiterating that Nigeria’s problem can not be solved by those who caused it, Adebayo asserted that the challenges confronting the nation would skyrocket If the electorates allow politicians accused of putting the country in rs current state are voted back in the seat of power come 2023.
The SDP flag bearer assured that if he is elected in the forthcoming 2023 General Election, the challenges such as poverty, insecurities, poor infrastructure,poor healthcare and more would be a thing of the past, noting that his party would come up with strategies to address the challenges.
According to Adebayo, in the past poverty was limited to people with disabilities and illiterates, but presently it is a companion for everyone who is not in government.
The presidential candidate proposed that politics should be done in a way that ordinary citizens with talent can come and participate without fear, stressing the need to understand the problems of the country before fixing them.
