Nigeria Senate has passed two bills seeking to extend the implementation of capital components of the twenty,twenty-two Appropriation bills until thirtieth of June.
The Senate resolution followed presentation of the two bills, sponsored by Gobir Abdullahi(APC-Sokoto).
The two sponsored bills were, Bill for an Act to amend the twenty,twenty-two Appropriation Act and Bill for an Act to amend the twenty,twenty-two Supplementary Appropriation Act.
Abdullahi in his presentation, said the bills seek to amend the twenty,twenty-two appropriation act and twenty,twenty-two supplementary appropriation act to extend the implementation year from thirty-first of March, to thirtieth of June .
This, he said was to allow for a full implementation of the budget, given the approval of supplementary budget approved in December, twenty, twenty-two.
