The Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has been elected for a sixth term to represent Agege constituency one in the State Assembly.
The INEC Returning Officer for Agege constituency election, Doctor Lukman Adeniji made the declaration on Sunday at the Collation Centre in Orile Agege.
He said that eight political parties fielded candidates for the election held on Saturday.
According to him, Obasa secured seven thousand, two hundred and fourteen votes to beat Raheem Alani of the Labour Party who had three thousand, nine hundred and thirty-three, Kafayat Biobaku of ADC with sixty-two votes and the PDP, which got one thousand, six hundred and nine votes.
In a related development, Jubreel Abdulkareem, of APC also won the Agege constituency two Assembly seat.
