ELEVEN STATE ASSEMBLIES PASS CONSIDERED FORTY-FOUR BILLS IN ONGOING CONSTITUTON REVIEW PROCESS.

The Joint National Assembly Committee on Constitutional Review says only eleven State Assemblies have so far considered and passed the forty-four Bills in the ongoing Constitution Review Process, six months on.

Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, co-chair of the Joint Committee said the remaining twenty-five State Assemblies may not be interested in the consideration and passage of the Bills.

He said only Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Anambra, Delta, Edo, Kaduna, Katsina, Kogi, Lagos, Ogun and Osun States have considered, voted on and forwarded their resolutions to the National Assembly.
