ASSEMBLY PASSES AREA COURTS BILL.

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has passed the Bill for a Law to Repeal and Re- enact Nasarawa State Area Courts Law and for Other Matters Related Thereto.

Speaker of the House, Ibrahim Abdullahi, announced the passage of the bill during the House proceedings in Lafia.

The speaker said the bill, if assented to by Governor Abdullahi Sule, would ensure effective dispensation of justice.

He noted that the bill would also strengthen area courts in the state for quality service delivery.

Earlier, the Majority Leader of the House, Tanko Tunga , moved a motion for the bill to scale third reading.
