President Bola Tinubu has condemned the assassination attempt on the former United States President, Donald Trump, which left his right ear pierced by a bullet.
America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI named a Twenty-year-old Thomas Crooks, as the shooter at a rally, held in Pennsylvania, U.S, leading to the killing of one person, while two others sustained injuries, on Saturday.
President Tinubu in a statement posted on his official X handle, said the attack on Trump was distasteful, while maintaining that violence has no place in democracy.
The President who expressed sympathies to the former U.S President, condoled with families of the deceased, while wishing the injured quick recovery.
