Scores of houses were affected as downpour and flood hit Lagos State.
Many residents were also stock in their residential apartments and cars as major roads were submerged after months of heatwaves in the state.
Territorial Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency in the South West, Ibrahim Farinloye, who confirmed the situation, said no life was lost and no one injured in the flood.
He appealed to Nigerians to clear their drainages and urged Community Development Associations to live up to their responsibility in coordinating the activities of neighbourhoods toward safer environments.
