DSS QUIZZES CBN DEPUTY GOVERNOR OVER ALLEGED FRAUD

The Department of State Services, DSS has invited the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria in charge of Financial System Stability, Aisha Ahmad, for questioning.

Ahmad was brought in by the DSS over the alleged fraudulent acquisition of shares in Polaris, Titan and Union Banks.

According to report, the Apex Bank Deputy Governor was being quizzed on how the three hundred million to complete the acquisition of Union Bank was raised by Titan Bank.
