Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has again warned that the Lagos state government will not tolerate any form of trading and illegal activities under the Apongbon section of Eko Bridge and other bridges in the State.
The Governor said this at the re-opening of the Apongbon section of Eko Bridge which was severely damaged during a fire caused by illegal trading, adding that the bridges are important assets to the State.
Speaking to commuters and Motorists at a drive through ceremony for the reopening of the bridge, the Governor said the Federal Ministry of works in collaboration with the state government had completed the repair work on the Apongbon axis which had led to the closure of the fly over for more than fifteen months.
