Sierra Leone’s president, Julius Bio who is running for re-election has called for a peaceful vote ahead of Saturday’s polls.

President Bio held his final rally in Freetown, the county’s capital.

Bio, who called for a peaceful election at the end of the campaign, is one of the thirteen candidates vying for the country’s apex political office.

The call came after a former Sierra Leonean electoral commissioner, Macksood Sesay, expressed concern that there was no process of healing after deadly riots in August last year.
