REPS DECLARE GBAJABIAMILA‘S SEAT VACANT AFTER RESIGNATION

Meanwhile, the seat of Surulere Lagos Constituency has been declared vacant.

It was declared by the incumbent Speaker of the House of Representative, Tajudeen Abbas.

It came after former holder of the seat and Speaker of the ninth House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila’s resignation letter was read at the plenary under personal explanation.

Gbajabiamila in the letter, commended the House and people of his federal constituency, adding that serving the House and the people of his constituency has been a great honour.

The former Speaker was appointed Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu.
