The Independent National Electoral Commission says no political party will be allowed to look into the brain of the Bimodal Voter Registration Systems, BVAS, used for voter accreditation and electronic transmission of votes.

National Commissioner of the electoral body, Festus Okoye, made this known, saying the reconfiguration of the systems would be completed on Tuesday.

Okoye explains that every Nigerian has the constitutional and legal right to protest the results of the polls but accessing the brain of the BVAS would not be allowed.

He also made it clear that the court judgement that voters could use their temporary voter cards to vote is not applicable for all Nigerians but for the individuals who went to court.
