LAGOS GEARS UP FOR PRESIDENT BUHARI’S VISIT.

Arrangements are in top gear by the Lagos State government to make President Muhammadu Buhari’s two day visit to the state on 23rd and 24th January, a befitting experience.

Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, who stated this at a Press Conference held at Alausa, on President Buhari’s visit to Lagos, themed: “Lagos Festival of Projects Commissioning”, urged residents to cooperate with the State Government to make the visit a success.

The Commissioner said the projects to be commissioned included Lagos Rice Mill, Imota; eighteen point seven five kilometers Eleko-Epe; Rigid Pavement six Lane Express way; Blue Light Rail from Mile Two to Marina; Lekki Deep Sea Port; John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History, MRS Lubricant, Apapa.

While corroborating the position of the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, his counterpart in the Transport Ministry, Doctor Frederick Oladeinde, also said Lagos would not shutdown movement, but would ensure the right diversions are put in place.
