The State Government has reiterated that a well structured parking system is crucial to effective and efficient traffic management in line with the Smart City status of the state.
Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation, Abdulhafiz Toriola who made this known, said the Ministry will work with other relevant agencies to improve traffic management and transportation in the state.
Toriola, stressed the need for an improved parking culture by residents and event centre operators alike whose activities contribute to traffic congestion.
