President Muhammadu Buhari has approved one hundred and thirty-four point seven billion naira for Security Debarment Allowance to all veterans.
Buhari, who announced this, also reassured Nigerians that he would leave a safer Nigeria by the end of his tenure in 2023.
He gave the reassurance during the Launch of Emblem Appeal Fund for the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration, held in the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The President also announced a ten-million-naira donation towards the appeal fund and called on all Nigerians, and corporate organisations, to support the veterans and families of the fallen heroes.
