The United Kingdom, has announced an investment of ninety-five million pounds on climate resilient and sustainable agriculture in Nigeria.
Its Foreign Secretary, James Cleverly, announced the pledge at the Conference of Parties 27 on Climate Change, going on in Sharm El Sheikh City of Egypt.
The new investment, according to Cleverly,would enhance productivity, adapt and build resilience, protect, and restore Nature.
The commitment to Nigeria formed part of the UK’s support worth over one hundred million pounds to developing Countries to deal with climate change.
