The Defence Headquarters has reassured Nigerians that the government and the military in conjunction with other security agencies will continue to take necessary actions to keep the country safe and secure.
Reacting to the security alert recently issued by certain embassies, Director Defence Information, Major-General Jimmy Akpor, reiterated that all institutions saddled with the responsibility of safeguarding the integrity of the nation had been assiduously working to ensure adequate security.
Director, Defence Media Operations, Major-General Musa Danmadami, assured that there was no cause for alarm, noting that the military will live up to its mandate of protecting the nation and it’s people.
