The State Government has reaffirmed commitment to ensuring equitable distribution of dividends of democracy in education and other sectors, leveraging on technology among other interventions.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said this at the Unveiling of the Compendium of Schools Infrastructural Transformation and Virtual Commissioning of New Projects in Public Schools done through the Special Committee on Rehabilitation of Public Schools, SCRPS.
The Governor who said his administration was determined to build on the education legacy of his predecessors informed that the state would accelerate the revamping of infrastructure in schools across Lagos.
At the event held at Marquee Hall, Eko FM/Radio Lagos, Sanwo-Olu virtually commissioned fifteen new school projects.
Earlier, Commissioner for Education, Folasade Adefisayo, said the event was another step in the journey of school transformation in the State.
Chairman of the Special Committee, Hakeem Smith, said the unveiling of the compendium was to showcase the over one hundred and ninety seven public schools rehabilitated among other infrastructure.
