COMMISSIONER CHARGES SCIENTISTS TO STRENGTHEN RESEARCH ON SERVICE DELIVERY.

Scientists and Tech-savvy personnel in the State Civil Service are to strengthen research that will enhance creativity and innovation capable of invigorating prompt service delivery in Lagos.

The State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Hakeem Fahm, stated this, while presenting a cheque for the sum of two point five million naira to a Statistician in the State Civil Service, Oluwaseun Ogunmolu, for developing a user-friendly mobile application named ‘Alausa Sabi’.

Fahm, who expressed the belief that creativity and innovativeness rest on active participation in Science and Technology, said progress and collective achievement of the State would rest on being active in Science and Technology.

The Commissioner explained that the ‘Alausa Sabi’ App would promote a way to study and enhance staff knowledge about the history of Lagos State, Public Service Rules, Financial Regulations, Nigeria Constitutions and the Lagos State Development Plan, among others.
