The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced total ban of motorcycles in some Local Government areas in Lagos State, effective from June first, 2022.
The Governor said the total ban on Motorcycles includes all highways, Eti-Osa, Ikeja, Surulere, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, and Apapa local government areas.
Governor Sanwo-Olu gave the order while speaking with all Divisional Police Officers, DPOs and Area Commanders across the State at the Lagos House, Ikeja.
He also said other security agencies would join in the enforcement.
