No Crisis In APC Says Senate Leader

Leader of the senate, Abubakar Abdullahi Yahaya Kebbi North has said that there is no crisis within the party.

He further said that the caretaker chairman Governor Mai Mala Buni only took an eight day leave to Dubai and is expected back tomorrow.

The Senator said while in his absence, the Governor of Niger state Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello was asked to act.

The senator disclosed that there were line up of activities that needed to be carried out by the acting chairman of the party.

He further said National Assembly as the highest legislative arm of government it is therefore their responsibility to ensure unity in the party.

Senator Abubakar Abdullahi Yahaya alluded in that during politics, schisms are expected in a political party as interest groups would plot to out do the other.

He said the storm is over and the party is ready for the 26 March convention.

Senator Yahaya said after resolving the crisis, the party is confident of winning 34 states in the 2023 elections.
