The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, says the Badagry Deep Seaport Project is a multilevel opportunity for development to improve the fortune of residents, transform economic ecosystem of the State and the West African corridor.
Speaking at a Stakeholders Meeting on the Badagry Deep Seaport Project, Governor Sanwo-Olu said the Project would create employment, as capacity building for the youths and women in the community would remain the focus of his administration.
He said the deep sea ports when completed and operational would address the challenges faced at the Apapa sea port as well as improve commerce and business activities.
The Governor expressed Government’s readiness to compensate people for their economic losses.
