The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has extended her condolences to the Governor of Sokoto State, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto and the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, over the recent sad occurencies in their States.
A statement signed by the first lady described the boat mishap, which claimed lives in Sokoto and the flooding incident, which occurred in Bauchi State where lives were also lost and property destroyed, as very unfortunate
She said, “My thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones and properties, as well as those who have been displaced.
“May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace and May God comfort the affected families and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” the First Lady prayed
