President Tinubu Presides over Security Council Meeting

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is presiding over the National Security Council meeting, which is ongoing at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.

Present at the meeting are all heads of security and law enforcement agencies in the country, including Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, and the three service chiefs; as well as the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun.

Also sited at the meeting were: Vice President Kashim Shettima, the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.

Also in the meeting are the Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS), Yusuf Bichi; Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Rufai, Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Col Adewale Adeniyi; as well as the Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Kemi Nanna Nandap.

It is envisaged that top on the agenda of the meeting will be the #endbadgovernance protest that commenced last Thursday, across the country.
