President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today met with the Ministers of Defence, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Abubakar Kana, and the Service Chiefs behind closed doors at the Council Chamber of the State House.
In attendance at the meeting in Abuja, were the Ministers of Defence, Badaru Abubakar and Bello Matawalle, Permanent Secretary, Abubakar Kana, Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja, his Navy counterpart, Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar.
The meeting is expected to focus on the security situation in the country as part of regular briefings by the security chiefs.
President Tinubu will later today lead a high-powered delegation to attend the G-20 Summit in New Delhi, India where he will engage with world and business leaders to attract investments into Nigeria
