Troops of Operation FOREST SANITY today 1 June 2023 conducted ambush operation to bandits enclave along road Tsohon Kabai- Kubusu Forest in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
This was contained in a statement by the Director, Defence Media Operations of the Defence Headquarters, Major General, Musa Danmadami, in Abuja.
Danmadami said during the Operation, troops made contact with bandits and following a fire fight, (3) three terrorists were neutralized. Items recovered are; two (2) AK 47 rifles, four (4) magazines, sixteen (16) rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunitions, hard drugs, assorted charms and (1) motorcycles.
The military high command according to the Director commended troops of Operation FOREST SANITY and encouraged the general public to avail troops with credible and timely information on terrorist and all criminal activities within their area.
