Inspector General of Police, Alkali Usman, has said foreign countries should stop informing the public on possible terror attacks in Nigeria, instead they should inform the police direct.
Usman’s call followed an issuance of two advisories from the United Kingdom and United states to their citizens in Abuja, over possible terror attacks.
He faulted them over the dissemination of such information to the general public, while inaugurating a police station and barracks in Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Police boss noted that such information should be communicated to police instead.
